Project 58:10 is a local ministry dedicated to meeting the nutrition needs of children that receive reduced or free lunch in the local schools.
The ministry has the support of the superintendents, teachers, family resource centers, and principals, these people are important in identifying the students that can benefit from the program. The project members are packing bags of food weekly to offer school age children that need the vital security of food over the weekend and holidays away from school. With permission of parents and guardians each student will receive a brown paper shopping bag with shelf stable food to take home on Fridays.
